Terms of Service
Last updated 16 September 2026 · DeskReps for macOS and iPhone
By using DeskReps you agree to these terms. If you don’t, don’t use the app.
DeskReps is not medical advice
DeskReps prompts stretches and counts them with your camera. It is a movement reminder, not a medical device, and nothing in it is diagnosis, treatment, or professional advice. Stop any exercise that hurts. If you have an injury, a medical condition, or pain that persists, talk to a doctor or physiotherapist before using the app. You use DeskReps at your own risk, and you are responsible for judging whether a given movement is safe for your body.
DeskReps Plus
DeskReps is free to use, including camera verification, break reminders, the streak, the widgets and Live Activity surfaces, every coach voice, the one-off interval override and the Neck Reset routine. DeskReps Plus unlocks the remaining routines, the builder for composing your own routine from the shipped exercises, past-weeks stats history, and app blocking during sessions on iPhone and iPad.
Plus is available as a monthly subscription, an annual subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Current prices are shown in the app, in your local currency, before you buy.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Your Apple Account is charged at confirmation of purchase and at each renewal.
- Free trials, where offered, convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends. Trial eligibility is determined by Apple, not by us.
- Manage or cancel any time in your Apple Account subscription settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Lifetime is a one-time purchase of DeskReps Plus, including features we add to it later. It is not a guarantee that the app will be published, supported, or compatible with future operating systems indefinitely.
Payment, refunds and restoring
All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see or handle your payment details. We cannot issue refunds. Refund requests go to Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Purchases are tied to your Apple Account, not to a DeskReps account (there is no DeskReps account). “Restore Purchases” in the app re-checks your Apple Account.
Your data
DeskReps processes camera frames entirely on your device. Video is never stored and never transmitted, and there is no DeskReps account and no server of ours holding your data. Crash and diagnostic reports go to our error-reporting provider and carry the app version, your device model and OS, and where the code failed — never your identity, your history, or anything from your camera. See the privacy policy for the full statement.
What we don’t promise
DeskReps is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Camera-based rep detection depends on your lighting, camera and position; it will sometimes miscount, and it is not a measurement instrument.
To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of DeskReps, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms as the app changes. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above. Continuing to use DeskReps after an update means you accept the revised terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Nothing here limits consumer rights that cannot be waived under your local law.
Apple’s standard licensed-application end user licence agreement also applies to the app binary itself, as required by the App Store.
